Ex-convict caught supposedly trying to break back into prison
Most criminals can not wait to get out of jail, but not for this California ex-convict who allegedly trying to sneak back in, prison officials said.
“We quickly determined not to have an escape route. We found the suspect hiding in the bushes …” New Folsom State Prison spokesman said Tony Quinn KSBW-TV.
Marvin Ussery, 48, was caught and arrested Thursday around 1:30 am. The 48 years old served time at New Folsom for robbery before he was paroled in June 2009.
Prison officials searched the grounds of something suspicious, but did not find any hidden contraband that could have potentially been smuggled into the prison.
“We have no evidence of that in this case, but we’ve had incidents where former prisoners have crept back into the property to hide backpacks full of drugs, alcohol or phones,” said Quinn.
The reason is under investigation.
